I have always enjoyed singing, and from 2003-2008 I was a proud member of the New York City Gay Men’s Chorus. I’ve performed on stage at Carnegie Hall five times!
With over thirty years of history, the NYCGMC is renowned for producing legendary performances, commissioning new works, and taking a leading role in the movement for social justice – including the struggle for marriage equality and other equal rights.
At the end of 2008, I suffered some vocal chord damage. Currently I am not singing at the level I once did. However, I would like to work with a vocal coach to rehabilitate my instrument. Tel Aviv has an LGBT chorus, and I expect to be singing with them in the future.
